United in strength. Rooted in belonging.

The African Trans Network (ATN) is a pan-African continental network for trans movements in Africa.

We’re a network of members from all five subregions of Africa working to unite, strengthen and empower trans movement building on the continent to speak with one unified voice.

We’re all about facilitating support for local and grassroots trans movements to advocate for the rights, safety, healthcare and representation of transgender Africans.
